Analyst just revealed the release date of the iPhone 15 and three significant enhancements

iPhone 15 (1)According to recent iPhone 15 speculations, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra would have new volume/power buttons, improved cameras, and more RAM. Additionally, the source: Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International, had the audacity to predict the retail release date (via 9to5Mac).

According to insiders in Pu’s supply chain, the occasion will occur on September 23 of this year. That largely corresponds to Apple’s customary release timetable each September, however, this year’s release date of September 23 falls on a Saturday, putting it a week later than usual. Given that Haitong is situated in Hong Kong, it’s possible that the September 23 release date actually refers to Friday, September 22, when it will be released in the United States and Europe.

The iPhone 15 Pro may have three Taptic Engine vibration motors, according to Pu’s hardware-related assertions. The next Pro iPhones’ expected solid-state power and volume buttons will purportedly be supported by this extraordinary increase in motors.

One motor is now used by iPhones to respond to human input, but it appears that more motors will be required once the buttons stop moving physically. If you’re having trouble visualizing how solid-state buttons would feel in your hand, consider the iPhone SE or iPhone 7/iPhone 8 models’ home buttons. Even though the button doesn’t move, the Taptic Engine’s buzz lets you know for sure when you’ve depressed it.

Pu claims that the iPhone 15 Pro models will have 8GB RAM, a gain of 2GB from the iPhone 14 Pro models, in terms of performance. That’s still fewer features than what similarly priced Android phones often include. But Apple has repeatedly demonstrated that it doesn’t require a lot of memory to make the iPhones the best-performing phones of each year. And given that the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to employ a more effective and potent 3nm chipset, rumored to be called the A17 Bionic, we might see a particularly substantial increase this year.

According to Pu, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus may include the same 48MP sensor found on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This is a rumor we’ve heard before, and we truly hope it is true. Although the 12MP main camera of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus is competent, it falls short of the 48MP sensor’s level of detail.

Meanwhile, Pu claims that, in keeping with recent rumors, the iPhone 15 Ultra/Pro Max may have Apple’s first periscope telephoto camera. The camera could zoom in considerably further than it currently can with the 3x sensor on the iPhone 14 Pro models if it had a folding lens design.

Pu concurs with earlier speculations that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have a USB-C port in place of the conventional Lightning connector for more convenient charging and data transfers, as well as an A16 Bionic CPU (like those found in the iPhone 14 Pro models). Additionally, he claims that the iPhone 15 series won’t differ in size from the iPhone 14 series. As a result, anticipate another pair of 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch devices in Pro and non-Pro versions.

Even if these reports are true, there is still a long way to go before the iPhone 15 is released, so things may change before Apple finalizes the design and begins mass production. But in the interim, we’ll be monitoring all of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Ultra rumors, so if the rumor mill changes its mind, we’ll be sure to let you know.
