As the iPhone 14 Pro Max Outsells the 14 Pro, the iPhone 15 Pro Max Will Receive Exclusive Features

According to reports, Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max has been so well received that the company may decide to further delay the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max apart from the iPhone 14 Pro. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who made the claim via Twitter, this is the case.

iPhone 15 Pro Max

Kuo had previously told us that Apple intended to shift some production from the iPhone 14 to the Pro models, but he now claims that the iPhone 14 Pro Max accounts for almost 60% of the overall rise in Pro model orders.

To raise 15 Pro Max shipments and improve the iPhone product mix, he thinks the action “will drive Apple to create more differentiation between iPhone 15 Pro Max & 15 Pro.”

The term “iPhone 15 Ultra” is already being floated by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman as a potential rebranding for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It’s possible that Apple will decide to continue using that branding on premium devices after the release of the Apple Watch Ultra.

Apple reportedly converted to USB-C for the iPhone 15 series, but it’s now believed that there may be other modifications for the iPhone 15 Ultra if that is the moniker.

It seems likely that the chip will be enhanced, and new camera advancements may possibly be in the works. However, until Apple makes an announcement in the next 11 months or so, we may expect to learn more about its plans through sources like Ming-Chi Kuo.
