The Thinkpad laptops were introduced by IBM in 1992, and by 2003, they were the only laptops approved for use on board the International Space Station. They have since established themselves as an unrivaled mainstay in offices around the globe thanks to their dependability, longevity, security features, and quiet operation. 30 years after the ThinkPad’s introduction, Lenovo paired the powerful laptop with the capable ThinkPhone by Motorola.

The ThinkPhones, which effortlessly pair with the ThinkPad notebooks, include a variety of high-end specifications, a distinctive style, and an emphasis on security and privacy, supported by security support platform ThinkShield and A.I. solutions like Moto Threat Defense. The gadget is MIL-STD 810H approved, has a Gorilla Glass VictusTM screen that can withstand drops from up to 1.25 meters, is built of lightweight aramid fiber that is stronger than steel, and has an aircraft-grade aluminum frame. For convenient access, the recognizable red key from ThinkPad notebooks is located on the side.

For more technical information, the smartphone has a battery life of over 36 hours, a Snapdragon® 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform, and a 50MP Ultra Pixel camera for clear video conversations. Aside from mobile-friendly features like the ability to dictate a paper using voice commands and instantaneously speak with coworkers using a Walkie Talkie app on Microsoft Teams, the full Microsoft app suite is preloaded on the phone and is designed for productivity.

According to Sergio Buniac, president of Motorola and senior vice-president of Lenovo, “I’m excited to launch the Lenovo ThinkPhone, a device that truly embodies the trusted quality and thoughtful design of the ThinkPad while also bringing unique productivity tools, and industry-leading security and device management capabilities.” The ThinkPhone will continue to provide business users with the best possible experience for years to come thanks to its top-notch specifications and easy connectivity with the ThinkPad.

The ThinkPhone from Lenovo is scheduled to be on sale in the coming months.
