Nothing Phone 3 hasn’t been seen yet, and Nothing Phone 3a to Switch to Snapdragon

One of the three new cellphones that Nothing was allegedly developing last week were seen on Geekbench and were identified as the Nothing Phone 3. That is not true. Given that it has been seen in an IMEI database next to an A059P—the “P” in Nothing’s nomenclature stands for “plus”—the device in issue, which has the model number A059, is most likely the Nothing Phone 3a.

Although it’s more likely to be the CMF Phone 2, the third device, which has the model number A001 as well, may be the Nothing Phone 3, according to the same IMEI database.

Let’s return to the phone 3A now. Based on the previously published benchmark, this will make use of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Since MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 Pro is used in place of the Nothing Phone 2a, this would be an intriguing supplier switch for the London-based startup.

However, since the Phone 2a Plus is paired with the Dimensity 7350 Pro, it appears that the 3a Plus will also likely have a minor SoC upgrade. In relation to chips, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is also speculated to be included in the CMF Phone 2.

If you’re interested, we’re also interested in the Nothing Phone 3. It made no mention of producing a high-end gadget in 2025, but this year it decided not to. The Phone (3) may be released in the second half of next year. We’ll keep you informed as we find out more.

We are also curious about the Nothing Phone 3, in case you are. Nothing stated that it will eventually produce a high-end device in 2025, but this year it chose not to do so. In the second part of next year, the Phone 3 might be released. When we learn more, we’ll update you.
