Yet another flagship chipset is now in development. The launch event for MediaTek is scheduled for the 8th of November. The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 is the company’s newest flagship chipset, and will also be unveiled at the occasion.
November has already been here, and December is undoubtedly not far behind. But it appears that November will be much busier than we anticipated. especially for firms like MediaTek and Qualcomm which produce chips.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is Qualcomm’s newest flagship processor, and it will be available in November. And reports claim that it will arrive somewhere in the middle of November.
This indicates that two brand-new flagship chipsets will be introduced in November. And since the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 won’t be available until mid-November, the Mediatek 9200 will undoubtedly be introduced first.
Leakage Of Dimensity 9200 Benchmark Score
The Mediatek Dimensity 9200’s Antutu benchmark score has been leaked before the launch event. According to the leaks, the next Dimensity 9200 will be a significant improvement over the Dimensity 9000. The Mediatek 9200 achieved an astounding 1.26 million points on Antutu Benchmark as a result.
In percentage terms, this represents a 26% improvement over the Dimensity 9000 chipset that MediTek unveiled in 2017. Rumors about the impending Dimensity chipset claim that it will have a Cortex-X3 primary CPU core.
Under the ARM V9 core lineup, the Cortex-X3 prime CPU core was introduced. It is reportedly the quickest core that ARM has ever produced. According to sources, the new Cortex-X3 primary CPU core will perform 28% better than the outgoing model.
It is evident that the 26% performance gain we saw from Antutu is accurate in relation to the Mediatek Dimensity 9200.
Additionally, according to sources, the Mediatek Dimensity 9200 scored highly for GPU performance. It might be Immortalis-G715 with ray tracing hardware capabilities. Early benchmark results also demonstrate that it outperforms the Apple Bionic A16 chipset in terms of power.
