The brand made a significant comeback in the wristwatch industry with the OnePlus Watch 2, and it appears that a successor is on the way. China’s TENAA agency has released a new certification that features the OnePlus Watch 3 (OPWW234). The gadget will still have the same side buttons and circular display as its predecessor, but it will also have an etched tachymeter bezel and a different rubberized strap material.
The listing verifies GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, and LTE connections via eSIM. Additionally, proof of a 500mAh battery—the same capacity as its predecessor—is provided. According to a new report, OnePlus may postpone the release of the OnePlus Pad 2 and Watch 3. It’s unclear what OnePlus has in store for us and when the Watch 3 will become official.
It also showed up in another database, where a 500 mAh battery—the same as the Watch 2’s—was discovered. It could include Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon Wear W5 Gen 2 processor, according to rumors. The release appears to have been postponed, even though it was first anticipated in Q1 2025. The (more than) respectable OnePlus Watch 2’s replacement is finally making an appearance.
On the TENAA certification page, the OnePlus wristwatch, model number OPWW234, is seen in the works. In China, the regulatory clearance procedure for electronic gadgets such as smartwatches and smartphones is called TENAA (Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center) certification. Before gadgets are allowed to be sold or used in China, it makes sure they meet the nation’s technological requirements and laws.
